STAGE I -WOLA JUSTOWSKA, KRAKOW

The project site is located on Podłużna Street, within Wola Justowska, which is part of District VII Zwierzyniec in Cracow. The immediate vicinity is made up of green areas and a newly built estate of single-family houses.

The first stage of the project is the northeastern part of the planned park and includes an entrance zone and a water zone, complemented by compositions of both high and low greenery with accompanying small architecture.

The entrance area is formed by two interiors. The first is a small courtyard separated on three sides by a high concrete wall, into which two entrance gates have been integrated. In the central part is an irregularly shaped pot with a seat and a solitary shrub placed in the center. The second interior is a composition of pots with rounded shapes, which also serve as seats. The pots are planned to be embanked and planted with WILOPNI deciduous trees supplemented with shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses. A green wall made of trellises overgrown with climbing plants has also been designed at the main entrance. The entrance zone is also the main hub of the park located in the immediate vicinity of the estate. The main element of the water zone is a retention basin divided by a wooden pier. The surroundings will be a beach and lounge area with deck chairs, located on a wooden terrace surface, supplemented with plantings of ornamental grasses and perennials.

The designed greenery is characterized by a wide variety of species, while at the same time referring to the naturally occurring vegetation in the area, so it fits in with the surroundings.
